Christmas Fun at The Angel Bar

We not only do business networking we also have a little fun along the way. At Christmas we enjoy a celebration with our fellow members and last year was no exception.

Meeting at the atmospheric Angel Bar in Caversham we were welcomed with cocktails, mocktails or prosecco by our host and RBC member, Meena Arch. Introduced by the club Chair Allen Mitchell (Mitch) we were then entertained by Charles Burns, celebrated silhouettist. As ever Charles presented us with some fascinating information about the history of his art and the interesting and clever artists from the past.

After Charles’s presentation we enjoyed delicious food - meat and cheese platter plus delicious pizza. as well as little boxes of surprice treats.

The evening didn’t stop there - Meena invited members to have a go at cocktail making.

It was a fabulous evening enjoyed by all. I should add that this was an evening meeting not a breakfast meeting……………
