Magical Mystery Tour on Red Double Decker

Mixing business with pleasure was a great success for members of the RBC on Tuesday. Travelling in a lovely Red Route Master run by member Mitch (http://www.redroutemasterreading.com/contact.php) we started with a visit to Conservatree (http://conservatree.co.uk/). Hosted by their MD, Chris Goslar the visitors were treated to a tour of the premises. We heard about the whole process from design to print and saw a wide variety of examples including business cards, booklets and an interesting large point of sale item. Members were fascinated with make up of dots and the angles that make the colours come alive.

Then on to Drummonds (http://www.drummonds-lettings.co.uk/) were we heard about the interesting world of property management. John Grimes told a little about the history of Drummonds and some of the challenges faced by landlords in this fluctuating market. Visitors were interested to hear that Drummonds are able to work closely with individual properties as well as property developments. John said the secret of their success was the Drummonds team who are good listeners as well as experienced property professionals understanding the important of matching the right property with the right tenant.

The final stop was to Ripcaster (http://www.ripcaster.co.uk/) was a musical interlude and a brilliant wine tasting session. With super systems that can cost thousands and thousands of pounds we were treated to the most amazing musical experience. Sound so smooth you could float away on it.

And finally – a wine experience second to none. Paul from http://www.threecountieswines.co.uk/ put us into groups and we competed in a blind tasting. The wines were lovely and varied.  I had never tasted a Viognier before so it was a real treat. We learnt so much about this lovely product and were treated to some very yummy nibbles.

The whole event was organised by our very own event organiser Sarah – http://www.sjdevents.com/. As usual this was a well organised, smoothly run and great fun event.

As we travelled back to our pick up  points on the big red bus we planned our next event ………….
